Reception Hunting in Laguna... & in Alabang

As of this writing, we already booked our Church (St. Benedict Church) & Reception (The Monochrome) venue, and we just want to share our other reception hunting experiences in Sta. Rosa Laguna & in Alabang.

Laguna

Paseo Premiere Hotel

This is located near Paseo de Sta. Rosa, so there are a lot of bars, restos, groceries, & shops that you can run into. Solenad is also a 3-min drive away from here. Commuting is also not a problem, since it's just nearby Sta. Rosa - Tagaytay Road.

Maximum capacity of their ballroom is 300pax. Based on our conversation, package includes the usage of stage, lights & sounds and hotel accommodation. They have their own restaurant, so food is in-house. Better to call their Sales Executive since they haven't sent me a copy of their wedding package.

They have other facilities such as the Premiere Sky Lounge, though it can only fit 100 pax. You can see the mountain scenery of Tagaytay so the view is very refreshing :). The hotel also has PAGCOR Casino, so if you have a Vegas theme, pasok sa banga ito!

The Clubhouse can only accommodate 150 pax, but there is a pool area below which can fit another 50 pax. But I guess you don't want your other guests to feel "alienated" because they are away from all the party right? But the place is very nice, kahit open-air presko pa rin :)

For you to utilize the Clubhouse, you must have a homeowner to sponsor you. It's easier to get there if you take Eton Exit. And since it's inside an exclusive subdivision, expect that the guard will ask your driver's license to leave it with them before entering village's premises. You can just say that the purpose of your visit is for inquiring/doing ocular visit to the clubhouse.

For contact numbers, you really have to go the clubhouse to ask the caretaker.

Filinvest Tent

The place is just new and also near St. James the Great & St. Jerome (chapel near Alabang Town Center), but is very pricey and needs a lot of styling thus incur additional wedding expenses! If you're interested of their rates, you have to submit a letter of intent (state your type of event, event date/time, no. of guests). They are a bit slow in answering emails, so you have to be patient.

Soderno @ Molito

If you are a frequent goer of food markets, you know this name! But this time, it's in Alabang! Located just in front of Ayala Alabang Village and Alabang Town Center, nasa gilid lang ng daan ito (with a tent of course!). They're accepting events such as weddings na but very pricey and needs a lot of styling din, like Filinvest Tent. And again, styling = additional wedding expenses! I advise you to call them if you're interested, kasi after ko lang mangulit thru phone call saka lang sila nag-send ng rates. Their rates ranges from 50k to 120k.
